Ila face oil will be the first product reviewed under the category of “face oils.” Ironically its the last one I have been using so its still fresh on my mind on what I truly think of it and how my skin reacted to it.
I really enjoyed using Ila face oil and was upset to find out that Barneys no longer carries it so I had to
search on line to desperately find it. I did find a spa that carries the whole line and decided to order a few more to make sure I am well stocked. Its imported from the UK so one never knows when it will
disappear off the shelves and domestic on line etailers. This is how the company describes Ila face oil:
Wild-Grown Argan OilHere is the full list of ingredients: Wild-Grown Argan Oil (Argania Spinosa Kernal), Rosehip Seed Oil (Rosa Canina), Sandalwood (Santalam Spicatum), Rose Otto Oil (Rose Damascena Flower Oil), Vitamin E Oil (Tocopherol Extract), Naturally Occurring Citronellol, Farnesol, Linalool. What really got me hooked on Ila is how beautifully it sinks into the skin upon application. It has
this unique velvety feel and finish that never looks oily or shiny. I use this morning and evening and I do apply moisturizer over it (my beloved LaPrarie caviar cream). If your skin isn’t that dry then moisturizer may not be needed. I also love the smell of the Rose Otto Oil which isn’t overpowering just very pleasant.
So if you are a big fan of aromatherapy all natural products then I would highly recommend this face oil. I bought mine at www.nubonau.com. It retails for $109 for 30ml-1oz.
